Congratulations! Your pregnant and awaiting the arrival of your little one! By now, especially if you’re nearing the end of your pregnancy, you have the nursery set up and your stroller and car seat ready to go.
(Hopefully you picked up one of our amazing travel systems!) Now, it is time to get that hospital bag ready.
And if you’re feeling overwhelmed about what to pack and take with you to the hospital, have no fear, we have your back!
We asked a handful of moms what they packed in their hospital bag to create a comprehensive list! So here we go!
Slippers
Sweatpants (and other loose fitting clothes)
Nightgown or your own hospital gown (if you don’t want to use the one your hospital will provide)
Fuzzy socks
Flip-flops (for the shower depending how long you are in the hospital)
Toiletries (like shampoo, dry shampoo, deodorant, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, chapstick)
Glasses (or extra contact lenses and solution)
Your favorite skincare essentials
Makeup
Cell phone charger
Portable speaker
Breast pump
Fluffy blanket (and one for dad too!)
Your favorite snacks and drinks (One of our moms even suggested having that one meal you couldn’t eat during your pregnancy on standby so that as soon as you give birth, it’s waiting for you!)
Eye mask for sleeping
Headphone (or earplugs if you’re a light sleeper)
Your favorite pillow (and one for dad too!)
Outfits for baby
Mesh underwear (from Frida Mom, if you don’t want to use the ones the hospital will offer you)
Frida Mom Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kit:
